NASA Develops First Double-Pulsed LiDAR
Sweet. This is a pretty big deal. Atmospheric interference has always been an issue in remote sensing. Satellites and aerial platforms both suffer from the interference and having a double-pulsed LiDAR can eliminate the issue. Hopefully the technology can get into the hands of other national satellite programs so that we can get some new imagery.
Then we will have double-pulsed systems running around collecting high end regional data sets.
New Earth Observation Satellites & a Rush to Video Imagery from Space
Another successful program. Maybe we do not need to get data absolutely as fast as possible, but I think that having HD video will be a great help. Faster downstream to users. New global medias.
So, I think I will keep it short today and maybe go back to bed.
